Calligraphy
Over the last 4 years I have completed 2 calligraphy courses with a woman who has decades of experience. I have been practicing on and off throughout that time. I want to offer affordable calligraphy services to people, especially since I'm still perfecting my craft. I am most confident in using more of a "modern" font style, though also know how to do traditional calligraphy fonts.
Since my calligraphy cowgirl biz is in the early stages, here is how I have my services set up, which will hopefully answer some of your questions:
Options: I am able to do custom cards, stationary, small prints, place cards, and address envelopes.
If you are looking for calligraphy for a wedding or event, I only have the capacity to do handwritten envelopes.
While I'm unable to design the actual invitation, I can happily address the envelopes once the invitations have been ordered. -I would also be happy to write place cards for attendees at the reception and collaborate other items the couple may want.
Pricing: Prices vary for calligraphy projects depend on the size, detail, and volume of items.
Cards (starting at $1.50 each)
Birthday; Anniversary; Holiday; Personalized; Valentines Day; Congrats
Place cards (min. set of 4) starting at $5
Quotes (TBD)
Stationary (min. set of 8) starting at $14
“Thank You”; “Hello”; “I love you”; Personalized; Mixed
Gift Tags (min. set of 4) starting at $5
Envelopes (TBD) starting at $2 per envelope
For envelopes specifically, depending on the font, I would charge $2.00 to $2.50 per envelope.
Delivery: I can ship items directly to you.
For envelopes, I'm happy to mail out the invitations if easier, I just ask that stamps are provided.
Depending on the timeline and actions needed, I may also need to add shipping charges. You will be informed of this upfront.
Timeline: Depending on the quantity and type of project, timelines vary.
Example: For 100 addressed envelopes, I will need at least 4 weeks, if not longer, to complete.
Send me a message with specifics for your project and deadline so I can give you a better estimate about time needed to complete the project.
